Carlsbad Cabinet was formed in 1958 after its founder, Jack Blackburn, discovered that his custom cabinets were becoming ever increasingly popular. Starting from a one man shop it, grew to a six man shop and became the largest custom cabinet shop in north san diego county in the 1960’s.

Carlsbad Cabinet has been family owned and operated since Jack turned on the saw and sawdsut first hit the floor. Dain Blackburn is running the shop now and became a Kraftmaid Cabinetry Authorized Dealer in the late1990’s. We made the change to offer more choices to our customers. You now can have Kraftmaid built to order cabinets (below home center prices.) We also provide installation for about 50% less. (Ca. Lic. # 687360)
